Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Chief Architect to lead the architectural vision and strategy for our Java-based iGaming platform. This pivotal role involves designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with our business objectives. The Chief Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and stay abreast of technological trends to ensure our platform's architecture evolves to meet future demands.
Key responsibilities:
•Architectural Leadership: Define and oversee the architectural vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
•System Design: Design scalable, secure, and efficient systems and solutions, leveraging Java technologies and frameworks.
•Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and development teams, to design solutions that meet business needs.
•Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance system performance and scalability.
•Mentorship: Mentor and guide architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
•Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
•Experience: 10+ years in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on Java-based systems.
•Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities.
•Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
•DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
•Database Knowledge: Experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
•Front-End Technologies: Understanding of front-end technologies such as ReactJS.
